Copy a document

1. Go to a printer and log in (Ways to log in).
    
2. You will be taken to the Home screen. Tap [Copy].
   
   
    
3. Place the document into the document feeder or on the glass plate.
   
   - Face up into the document feeder.
   Important: You can place multiple sheets in the document feeder. However, use the glass plate for a bound document, damaged sheets, thin sheets, and stapled sheets.
   
   
   
   - Face down on the glass plate.
   
   
   
    
4. If necessary, adjust the document settings under [Options].
   
   
    

5. Enter the desired number.

   
   Tip: correcting the number

   If you enter the wrong number (e.g. 100 instead of 10), press [C] instead of [Reset]. Reset will restore all preferences (colour / black and white, double-sided / single-sided, etc.) to their default settings.
   
    

6. Press the green [Start] button. Your document will now be copied.
    

7. To log out, place your card on the card reader and wait until you hear a beep or tap [Log Out].
   
   Important: If you forget to log out, the printer automatically logs out after 1 minute. Within that time, other users can see and print your jobs. So always make sure you log out yourself.
